Dr Lynne Stoakes BVetMed; MRCVS.

Lynne is a Veterinary Surgeon and Director of Lawton and Stoakes

Lynne qualified from the Royal Veterinary College (University of London) in 1984.

Lynne has an interest in the treatment of exotic species, especially tortoises and terrapins (Chelonia). She has a collection of different species of her own. She is a past British Chelonia Group   (BCG)   Veterinary Liason officer  (jointly with Martin Lawton)   and has given talks to local groups and schools educating young and old alike regarding the care of exotic species.

In 2000 Lynne undertook the D32/33 qualification to become an assessor for trainee Veterinary Nurses at the practice, which has been a Training Centre since it opened. She went on to become a Clinical Coach as the Nursing Course developed.
